Reasons for divorce in Nevada

The only three grounds for divorce in the state of Nevada are as follows:

  • Insanity, which has existed for at least two years prior to the filing of the divorce. There must be corroborative evidence of such a case, before the divorce decree will be granted.
  • Husband and wife have lived separate and apart for at least one year, without cohabitation.
  • Incompatibility.
